A Message from the Football Director:
Its time to get ready for the 2012 season! We have other organizations that are already calling to join VA North Pop Warner! More teams and associations on the way!
Virginia North Pop Warner League, Inc. provides a safe learning environment for our Youth to learn fundamental football skills, self-discipline, teamwork, concentration, friendship, leadership and good sportsmanship. During the spring we are tentatively scheduling spring speed and agility training; For the summer, we will offer local football combines that allow your child to focus of key areas for skill development, position specific instruction, drills, agility, and much more. Dates will be posted on the Coaches Corner tab. Come back and visit our website in early 2012 for more information.
Our season starts in August 1st, each child is assigned to a Certified USA Football Coach who continues to re-emphasize those skills required for a solid foundation moving forward. Our program includes games against local teams as well as a League Championship game. Pop Warner Football holds a Regional Football Championship for the top teams in each league. The top teams at the regional level attend the National Championship held in Orlando, FL. Our goal is to send several teams to the Regional and National Championships next season in 2012.
